I'm a craftaholic who manages her addiction by hosting craft parties for adults and kids, painting murals for customers, attending local craft and school fairs with my papercrafts stall and teaching craft classes.
Oh, and I'm an Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator!
I had an order for a couple of Chinese New Year cards. Not knowing much about these cards I did a little research and found that red and gold were lucky colours, it is the year of the tiger and that there are 2 phrases that could be used depending on whether you speak Manderin or Cantonese. So far so good! Then, after finding out Cantonese was probably better for the final recipients I found about 3 different ways of spelling what I wanted to write! So I chickened out and put happy new year in English! I'm pleased with the final result though. Now to find out whether Wilma likes them too!
So wherever you are, let me wish you all a Happy New Year for next week!
